Children


At Bay Valley Christian Church we believe that we are touching kids live with the power of God through his word. The word of God is presented in fun and exciting ways to capture their attention. We believe that this will lead them into a lasting relationship with Jesus Christ as their Lord.

If you have a heart for kids, we have an opportunity for you! We love to get new people involved in this ministry. To get involved, you must attend Bay Valley Christian Church for at least three months or be referred to the Children’s Ministry Director. Please pick up a teacher’s application packet from the Children’s Sign-In Area or Guest Services.

    Life Kids

    - Ages 3month - 6years

    Statistics tell us that 90% of a person’s character is formed by the age of five years old. At Bay Valley Christian Church, preschoolers are important and we consider it a privilege to minister God’s Word to them in our age appropriate classrooms.

    Our typical activities include: Bible stories, videos, playing instruments,
    scripture memorization, singing, dancing, crafts, coloring, games, and a healthy snack time!

    Vision-
        To be a thriving and exciting children’s ministry, that produces kids that love God and live to show it.

    Goals-
        Develop
               We will model and teach kids to become Christ-like.

        Teach
               We will teach the word of God in fun and practical ways.

        Fun
               We will create a fun environment that keeps kids wanting to come back.

               We will maintain a secure and safe environment.

        Excellence
               We will strive to be productive and excellent in all that we do.

        Leadership
               We will be committed to discipling our volunteers to become leaders.

    Mission-
        We will reach every kid by being committed to excellence, safety, and Gods’ Word.

    Kidz Element

    - 1st - 5th grade

    Kidz Element is set up as one giant service just for kids. Every 5 to 10 minutes we move on to a different activity to keep them engaged and excited about what they are learning. These activities include: upbeat worship with motions, games, creative object lessons, Bible stories, funny videos, scripture memory verses, drama skits, and prizes!

    We want their experience to be one they remember and enjoy!!
