Pastor David Ferranti
- Lead Pastor
Pastor David Ferranti is a local pastor at Bay Valley Christian Church in Bay City, Michigan. His wife Cheryl, two kids, Matt and Hannah, and he founded BVCC in 1991. Under his leadership, the church has grown to over a thousand people. In addition, he has networked with a number of organizations that support the vision of training and equipping leaders. Furthermore, he travels internationally planting schools and holds leadership equipping seminars. He is also the founder of Leaders For Christ Training Center.
Pastor Cheryl Ferranti
- Worship Pastor
Cheryl, born and raised in Bay City, was born-again and baptised in the Holy Spirit in 1980. In 1981, the Lord called her into the music ministry and soon promoted her from singing to being the right-hand support person for Hamilton Roth, who at the time was music minister at Faith Center Church. Cheryl married David Ferranti in 1985 and together they have two children: Matthew and Hannah.
Cheryl would like to see more people trained to lead others into the presence of the Lord.
Pastor Patty Mudd
- Lead Associate Pastor
Patty began to pursue her call to full-time ministry in 2000. She worked administratively throughout BVCC. And has been and active part of our children & youth ministry. As she finished her degree with Leaders for Christ Training Center, the call to the church at large became very evident.
Patty has passion to see people connect on a deeper level, not only with the Lord but with each other and to motivate others to realize God's best for their lives and their families, regardless of age! One of the ways this is accomplished is through bible studies that strengthen & build emotionally healthy life-giving relationships.
Patty and her husband Dale have been married for 31 years, they have two grown children and 6 beautiful grandkids! Patty & Dale enjoy spending quality time with family and cherished friends.
Pastor Marco Salazar

Marco Salazar is a teaching pastor for Bay Valley Christian Church. He oversees The Frame college & twenty-something’s ministry, Understanding God, and Leaders For Christ Training Center. He holds a degree in elementary education from Saginaw Valley State University and was a seventh grade science teacher in Tempe, Arizona for 3 years.
While living in Arizona, Marco grew passionate for worship ministry. He applied and was accepted to New Life School of Worship in Colorado Springs, Colorado. It was there where he felt God’s call into the ministry. Colorado was also where he met Matthew Ferranti, Brandon Taets, and Pastor David Ferranti. Through these connections, the Lord brought Marco to Bay Valley Christian Church in the summer of 2007.
Since then, Marco has developed a passion for teaching the Bible in a relevant way and seeing lives transformed through the love of Christ. He currently resides in Bay City with his wife Kari. In his free time, Marco enjoys reading, traveling, making funny videos, spending time with his wife, and an occasional game of Call of Duty on Xbox Live.-
Marcus Morgan
- Executive Assistant
After years away from the church playing music and touring, Marcus began attending Bay Valley Christian Church in 2007 where he decided to refocus his life on Christ. In the following years God has directed him towards a passion for the local church and a desire to reach those who do not have a relationship with Jesus Christ. His hope is to play a major role in the next generation of the church locally and throughout the world.
Dale Mudd
- Administrator
Dale loves administration. He started out as a tool & die maker, and moved into engineering as a Continuous Improvement Specialist in 1998. He has extensive experience in cost analysis and management. He worked within both Delphi & GM plants. Dale has been involved in ministry for the past 17 years. He would love to see BVCC run smoothly and be debt free with in the next five years!
Dale & Patty have two grown children. Their daughter Ashley and son-in-law Pastor Dan Mastrogiacomo, Pastor of Horizon Church in MaComb Michigan, have three sons and one daughter. Angelo, Dominic, Vittorio, and their newest addition Nina. Their son Tyler and daughter-in-law Mallory have two beautiful daughters, Callie and Addilyn. Dale enjoys anything that involves motor sports, he loves racing and spending quality time with family and friends.
Tyler Mudd
- Media Director
Tyler has always known Bay Valley Christian Church as his home. He has an ear for music and an eye for detail. He loves using his gifts to approach worship and use of technology, to make your Worship experience a great one! Tyler and his wife Mallory have been married for 5 years and have two daughters.
Brandon Taets
- Minister of Music
Brandon Taets has been leading worship at Bay Valley Christian Church since 2009. He is a native from the Quad Cities, Illinois where at the age of 16 God called him to full-time worship ministry. In 2003, he was hired on as the Youth Worship Leader for Chainglink Ministries where he served for 3 years. From there he applied and was accepted to the New Life School of Worship in Colorado Springs, Colorado. It was there where he met Matthew Ferranti, Marco Salazar, and Pastor David Ferranti.
In 2007 Brandon married his beautiful wife Anna and moved to Montrose, MI to work at Lamb of God Fellowship for 2 and a half years. From there he and his wife moved to Bay City and shortly after he was asked to come on staff at BVCC. Brandon and Anna had their first son, Xander Eugene, in January 2011.
Brandon likes anything creative, such as graphic design, creating/shooting videos, and stage design. In his spare time he enjoys a good movie, Disc Golf, Call of Duty on Xbox Live, reading Ultimate Frisbee, playing with his son, and is a connoisseur of coffee.
