Bay Valley Christian Church is a new and fresh expression of the Body of Christ in a Spirit of Evangelism. The goal is to reach a broad spectrum of people with the message of the grace and love shown to us by our Lord, Jesus Christ. As we move into the future, we are committed to share God’s “Good News” with as many people as possible. We will work first in our community, then in our state, and finally, throughout the world.

There is a famine throughout the land… a famine of the Word of God. The Word of God is the Bread of Life. Many are starving from the lack of the Word in their lives. Our desire is to build strong families and to see young people thrive. Our priorities at BVCC include teaching the Word of God through quality education, practical living, and accountability.

Emphasis is placed on the teaching of the Word of God to help people of all ages grow and mature. We are committed to provide creative and relevant environments for children, youth, and adults. Our ministries are focused around this purpose: “To build relationships with people and lead them into an authentic and growing relationship with Christ.”

Bay Valley Christian Church is a family of people on a spiritual journey. As we serve together, we will grow in our passion and love for Christ. As we desire His Word and Godly relationships, then we pass on the lessons that we have learned so that others will continue to serve Him with the knowledge that they can do all things through Christ who strengthens them (Philippians 4:13).

In a time of independence and isolation, meaningful relationships are a rare commodity. Yet, in God’s family, loving and caring relationships are the standard. These kinds of friendships are based on commitment and mutual investment, rather than convenience. Enjoying worthwhile relationships means that we must learn to live out our Christianity in a practical way through covenant love and service.

We emphasize the Fruit of the Spirit, as well as the Gifts of the Spirit. Honesty, integrity, and sincerity cultivate the Gifts of the Spirit. God has made room for it all. We reach out in love to those who have not yet heard the message of Jesus Christ.

Our desire for our worship experience is to be drawn into His presence in such a way that it transforms us. True worship will leave us hungering and thirsting for more of the Lord. Merely sensing His presence is not enough… living in His presence on a daily basis will lead to liberty. Worship and music are an integral part of every service. Psalm 150:3-6 (NKJV)

Praise Him with the sound of the trumpet; Praise Him with the lute and harp! Praise Him with the timbrel and dance; Praise Him with stringed instruments and flutes! Praise Him with loud cymbals; Praise Him with clashing cymbals! Let everything that has breath praise the LORD. Praise the LORD!
