Catie grew up in West Michigan and graduated from Hamilton High School. She attended Grand Valley State University for a year studying Creative Writing and Art/Graphics. Currently, she acts in plays, leads dramas, and writes various genres of literature. Catie loves the creative arts because it puts things in new and unusual perspectives, and at times, a new perspective is exactly what people need. Catie and her husband Jonathan reside in the Bay City area.
